Managing Partner raises £170 from the Ice Bucket Challenge

Diane Brennan, Managing Partner of Warrington-based chartered accountancy practice Jackson Stephen LLP courageously took part in the Ice Bucket Challenge to show her support for the ALS Association and awareness of Amyothrophic Lateral Sclerosis, known as Motor Neurone Disease in the UK.  The phenomenal campaign has already been supported by celebrities and individuals taking part in their back gardens and has raised millions of pounds worldwide.

The firm’s 70 members of staff voted unanimously for their Managing Partner to get a soaking with Diane receiving 54% of the votes!

Before the soaking was carried out, Diane nominated her fellow partners Peter Atkinson, Chris Barrington and Derek Armstrong to be the next people at the firm to take on the challenge.

Diane Brennan said “I would like to thank the “former” staff at Jackson Stephen for my nomination which I was happy to accept in aid of a very worthwhile cause.  It was great fun, although really, really cold”.
