Companies House Changes – Identity Verification

From 18 November 2025, you must have verified your identity with Companies House to continue acting as a director, PSC, or company officer.

✅ Verification is free, simple, and online via GOV.UK One Login here Verify your identity for Companies House - GOV.UK

You’ll receive your unique Companies House Personal Code, which you’ll need to:

 • File company documents
 • Be appointed as a director
 • Register as a PSC

 ❌ Without verification, you won’t be able to set up a new company or file any statutory documents. 

Don’t leave it too late – make sure you’re verified well ahead of the deadline.
