The Apprenticeship Levy was introduced in April 2017 as part of the Government's plan to increase the number of apprenticeships throughout the UK.

The Apprenticeship Levy - What you need to know!

The Apprenticeship Levy is a tax on UK employers to fund the training and assessment of apprentices.  It is funded by both private companies and government entities.  Employers with an annual pay bill of more than £3 million are required to contribute and use these funds for apprenticeship training.  Employers must have a Digital Apprenticeship Service (DAS) account and make the levy payments into it monthly via PAYE.
